The poems in this book were initially written as a way of coping with the emotions I felt when I was told that Sam had Autism... I will never forget the pain I felt that day or the fear...
After the initial shock I decided to learn all I could to help my Son with his difficult journey... I call it a journey because Autism is a journey, it is not a destination ! Many of these poems are about what we learned as a family along the way and how we have each coped...
