More Than Words...

Autism - A Mothers Perspective Through  Poetry

The poems in this book were initially written as a way of coping with the emotions I felt when I was  told that Sam had Autism...  I will never forget the pain I felt that day or the fear...

After the initial shock I decided to learn all I could to help my Son with his difficult journey... I call it a journey because Autism is a journey, it is not a destination !  Many of these poems are about what we learned as a family along the way and how we have each coped...

I have received many notes from people who have bought the book telling me how much understanding and comfort it has given them...  I have added a few of these comments below.
